Dreamers Pay Homage to the Great Art Festival, Burning Man
Brooklyn, NY - Burning Man, on its 25th anniversary as an art-based Metropolis, is emerging as the next chapter of the Dreamers project, a series of group portraits of self-identified ‘dreamers’ that photographer and street artist Justin Tellian has been shooting in urban centers around the world.
The move to include Burning Man grew naturally for Tellian, who has dreamed of gathering thousands of dreamers in the festival of 50,000. Making things more interesting for the photographer and his Burning Man collaborator, Nasa Nich, is a silent morning walk into the sunrise called The White Procession that has been happening every year at the festival, giving the project many people to invite ready-fashioned in collective white attire, a signature element of past Dreamers shoots.
Here’s what this chapter of the project is going to accomplish: get Tellian and collaborators to Burning Man, partner with a few fun camps on a sunrise event, invite the White Procession, and take the DREAM shot!
